Welcome!
Electronics was my first hobby, starting with a
150-in-1 electronic lab set and working my way up from there. I have no formal
training in the field but I've learned a lot from extensive reading and
experimenting, from my father, and from my mentor, roboticist friend
Mark Tilden
during my days at the University of Waterloo.
These days, I use my electronic design and construction skills primarily in
pursuit of my
other hobbies, or to make life easier on our
Norwegian Fjordhorse farm.
This site is a repository of the devices I've built, complete with schematics,
circuit board layout, and instructions. The projects are in categories based on
what they were designed for, but many have wider uses, so look around. Here are
some quick links to the individual sections:

In addition to the do-it-yourself projects, I'm also starting to review
interesting bits of electronic equipment. Unless otherwise noted in the
article, all of these are unsolicited reviews of equipment I've purchased
myself.
