Our home renovation continues, so I decided I’d go shoot some photos of it from the air. I also planned to take a picture of Lori’s friend’s house, which is off the end of the right downwind of runway 23 in Stratford (CNM4). So, I flew a triangular flight from CYKF to CNM4, did a touch and go there, flew up to our place, and then back to CYKF.
Unfortunately, photographing the friend’s place didn’t work out. As I departed the downwind and picked up the camera, I noticed a “memory full” message on the LCD. I didn’t have time to erase any pictures before passing over the house, and didn’t want to do an unplanned additional circuit since I’d already announced my intentions to leave. So that photo will have to wait until next time.
I did clear up some memory on the 10 minute flight to our place, and got some decent pictures of the builders replacing our porch roof. They were thrilled when we gave them prints the next day.
